‘Tendonitis’ invites both laughter and a wince, depending on the viewer’s personal history. Created using backlit plastic bags, tissue paper, and the base of a glass vase, this image employs an unusual form of intentional camera movement (ICM) to conjure the visual metaphor of an inflamed, overworked tendon, perhaps in the knee, pleading for rest and rehabilitation. The swirling textures and exaggerated motion echo the tension and tenderness of a joint pushed past its limit, blending humor with a touch of anatomical empathy.
