Collard Greens is an Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) photograph that pays homage to Southern tradition and the quiet symbolism of prosperity. The single collard leaf, illuminated against a swirl of ethereal light, evokes both memory and celebration; an emblem of good fortune and the promise of a new year. For those who grew up in the South, it’s more than a vegetable; it’s a ritual, a comfort, a smile passed down through generations.
